AN INTRODUCTION TO EVOLUTION
What Is Evolution? If you Google evolution, the definition you get is "the process by which different kinds of living organisms are thought to have developed and diversified from earlier forms during the history of the Earth." Basically, evolution is the way that things grow and change and develop. Evolution is often a result of the external stimuli that a species is exposed to. For example, Charles Darwin discovered that finches on separate islands, although they were the same kind of bird, had evolved differently to survive in their unique environments. If only small seeds were available on one island, the birds there would have small beaks. However, if the birds had nuts instead, then their beaks would be larger and flat so that they could crack them. Humans, like all the other species on Earth, have evolved in various ways. After all, life on Earth began with single celled organisms. It's obvious that we have come a long way since then. Around 160,000 y...
